About Russ

Russ Molot is an associate lawyer at LMS Personal Injury Lawyers with more than 30 years of experience in civil litigation, personal injury, family law, and wills and estates. He was called to the Ontario Bar in 1990 and to the Nunavut Bar in 2021, and practises throughout both jurisdictions. His litigation work has included the class action against General Motors over an ignition defect. In family law, Russ handles divorce, parenting disputes, and property division, and heads the firm's family law department. His wills and estates practice covers drafting wills and powers of attorney as well as estate litigation on behalf of the deceased or beneficiaries. He holds an LL.B. from the University of Windsor Law School and an Honours B.A. in Criminology, Psychology and Law from Carleton University, and mentors the firm's articling students.
