About Thomas

Thomas G. Hanrahan is a partner at Sullivan Mahoney LLP and a member of the firm's Municipal Law Group, focusing his practice on municipal, land use, and civil litigation matters. He regularly appears before courts and administrative tribunals across the province, including both the Ontario Land Tribunal and the Superior Court of Justice. Tom brings considerable experience handling development-related appeals before the OLT, having acted for municipalities, developers, and private citizens throughout the development process. He also handles Provincial Offences prosecutions and criminal and quasi-criminal matters, having acted for various municipalities and once served as a part-time Crown Attorney working for the Attorney General's Ministry. His civil litigation work centers on commercial and municipal disputes, with additional experience in collections, contract, insurance, and injunction matters. He was admitted to the Ontario Bar in 1990 and holds an LL.B. from Queen's University and a B.A. (Honours) from Brock University, having completed a year of that degree at the University of Vermont.
