About Thomas
Thomas Feather is a partner at Deeth Williams Wall practising intellectual property and information technology law. His work centers on preparing and prosecuting patent, trademark, and industrial design applications. He was admitted to the Ontario bar in 2008 and is a registered Canadian and U.S. patent agent. Before law school, Tom spent years building computer-based systems, including radar imaging technology, satellite ground stations, sonar processors, image analysis tools, and early internet telephony systems, working his way from programmer up to vice president of engineering. He also spent several years as a biostatistician and held a faculty appointment in the University of Toronto's Faculty of Medicine. He holds an LL.B. from Osgoode Hall Law School, along with an M.Sc. in Computer Science and a B.Sc. in Mathematics and Physics, both from the University of Toronto.
