About Terry
Terry Czechowskyj is a litigator and one of Canada's most experienced insolvency lawyers, having represented receivers, trustees in bankruptcy, creditors, and financial institutions, and having served as lead counsel on more than 50 reported trial and appeal decisions. From 2007 to 2019 he was called upon by the federal Department of Justice to assist the United Nations Working Group on insolvency with cross-border issues. Czechowskyj earned his LL.B. from the University of Alberta Law School and was admitted to the Alberta Bar in 1985. He was named to Best Lawyers in Canada from 2011 to 2015.
