About Michael

Michael Winward is firm counsel at Mackesy Smye LLP with an extensive career in personal injury and civil litigation. He has tried cases before judges and juries, argued before the Ontario Court of Appeal, and completed hundreds of settlements through mediation and direct negotiations. He received the Emilius Irving Award in 2017 and was elected a Bencher of the Law Society of Ontario in 2023.
