About Teri

Teri Burant's practice focuses on family law, including child support, spousal and adult interdependent partner support, parenting matters, and division of property for both married and cohabiting couples. Burant has addressed emerging issues such as grandparents' rights and the legal rights of same-sex couples, and has appeared before all levels of court in Alberta. Burant has served on the executive of the Family Law North Section of the Canadian Bar Association since 2017, including as chair from 2021 to 2023.
