She assists clients with estate planning, administration, and litigation, including adult guardianship and trusteeship applications and planning for family members with disabilities. She serves as external counsel to administrative decision-makers, boards, and tribunals, and has represented clients before the Alberta Human Rights Commission and the Canadian Human Rights Tribunal. Amy articled with the ARCH Disability Law Centre in Toronto, where she was called to the bar, before returning to Alberta in 2010, and has appeared before all levels of court in Alberta. She is a member of the Law Society of Alberta and the Canadian Bar Association and serves on the board of Choir Alberta.
