About Taylor

Taylor Cao's practice covers Canadian corporate income tax planning, with an emphasis on cross-border and domestic mergers and acquisitions, corporate reorganizations, corporate finance and international tax matters, and he assists with resolving related tax disputes. He has presented on international tax issues at the Canadian Tax Foundation's Young Practitioner Focus program and has been recognized by Best Lawyers in Canada as "One to Watch" in tax law. Taylor is called to the bar in both Ontario and New York State and has completed the Canadian Bar Association's Tax Law for Lawyers program and CPA Canada's In-Depth Tax Course. He holds a J.D. from the University of Toronto, where he was a Bronze Medalist, a Master of Accounting from the University of Waterloo, and a B.Sc. from the University of Waterloo.
