About Ashlee

Ashlee's practice focuses on insurance law, professional liability defence, personal injury litigation and commercial litigation, though she handles a broad range of civil litigation matters. She has represented clients before the Superior Court of Justice, the Divisional Court, the Ontario Court of Appeal, the Landlord and Tenant Board, the Human Rights Tribunal, the CPP Disability Review Tribunal, the License Appeal Tribunal and the Financial Services Commission of Ontario. While she prepares every case as though it could go to trial, she also works to negotiate efficient, cost-effective resolutions and has stopped several lawsuits early through summary judgment motions. Ashlee earned her LL.B. from the University of Ottawa in 2010 and an Honours B.A. in Law from Carleton University in 2007. She's an instructor of Civil Law and Procedure at Nipissing University and a member of the Ontario Bar Association, the Nipissing Law Association, the Carleton County Law Association and the Advocates' Society.
