About Tara

Tara Petersen has practised at WBA Law for three decades, joining as an articling student in 1994 and becoming a partner in 2000. A former emergency room nurse, she is a litigator specializing in fraud and debt recovery, with additional experience in corporate governance, new home warranty matters and pension law. Tara has served the Law Society of Alberta on its Conduct Committee and Reinstatement Committee and as a Calgary Bar Admissions course judge, and has coached high school and community basketball for many years.
