About Sydney

Sydney Mann is a lawyer at Pitblado Law. Sydney earned a Juris Doctor from the University of Alberta in 2025, after completing a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science at the University of Winnipeg in 2022. During law school, Sydney served on the executive board of the Indigenous Law Students Association from 2022 to 2025, including as Internal Co-Chair leading its Cultural Committee, and also served on the executive boards of Law Students for Human Rights and the Women's Law Forum. Sydney volunteered with two legal clinics in law school: the Human Rights Project, assisting Edmonton community members with human rights claims, and the Trans ID Clinic, assisting community members with legal name and gender marker changes.
