About Susanne

Susanne is an experienced commercial litigator and employment lawyer who has practised at Speigel Nichols Fox LLP since joining the firm in 1991. Her commercial litigation work covers contract and shareholder disputes, negligence and breach of trust claims, mortgage fraud, fraudulent conveyances, creditors' rights enforcement, bankruptcy and insolvency matters, and estate litigation. She also acts for both employers and employees in employment litigation and regularly advises employer clients on human rights compliance and workplace policies, drawing on her earlier experience at the Ontario Human Rights Commission. Susanne has appeared as lead counsel before the Ontario Superior Court of Justice, including its Commercial List, Bankruptcy Court, and Estates Court, as well as the Divisional Court and the Court of Appeal. She earned her LL.B. from Osgoode Hall Law School in 1989.
