About Krystyne
Krystyne Rusek is Counsel whose litigation practice centers on estates, trusts, and capacity disputes, including will challenges, dependant support claims, guardianship applications, and disputes over powers of attorney. She regularly appears before the Ontario Superior Court of Justice and the Court of Appeal, drawing on prior solicitor experience to strengthen her litigation strategy. Krystyne holds a Juris Doctor from the University of Western Ontario and a Bachelor of Science from the University of Toronto, and was called to the Ontario bar in 2004. Before joining her current firm she worked at Pallett Valo, WELPartners, and other Ontario practices. She has been active with the Ontario Bar Association, leading its Civil Rules Review Taskforce liaison role, and was recognized by Best Lawyers in 2025 and 2026. Krystyne also served in the Canadian Reserves as a member of 25 Medical Company from 1993 to 2000.
