About Jennifer
Jennifer Lake handles a wide range of civil litigation matters arising from commercial, contractual, real estate, construction, professional negligence, and shareholder disputes. She spent the first sixteen years of her career at a well-known litigation boutique in downtown Toronto before joining Speigel Nichols Fox LLP. Jennifer appears before the Superior Court of Justice, Divisional Court, Commercial Court, and Court of Appeal, handling matters that range from construction lien disputes to professional discipline proceedings, and she prepares contracts, releases, and settlement documents for clients. Before practising law, she served with the Canadian Forces Naval Reserves for more than six years, training at bases across the country. Jennifer earned her JD from the University of Windsor in 2006 and a Bachelor of Arts with honours from Queen's University, and she was called to the Ontario bar in 2007.
