About Susan
Susan Humphrey maintains a broad litigation practice in civil, administrative, and regulatory proceedings, with additional experience in criminal law, family law, and estate litigation, including matters under the Mental Health Act and medical assistance in dying. She has acted as counsel to the Law Society of British Columbia and to lawyers facing Law Society investigations, often in cases involving money laundering allegations, and has represented athletes and coaches in matters before Rowing Canada, Hockey Canada, and Swimming Canada. She received her LLB and BCL through McGill University's bilingual joint degree program in 2017, clerked for Justice Patrick Healy at the Court of Quebec and Quebec Court of Appeal, and studied politics at Mount Allison University and, as a 2010 Rhodes Scholar, at the University of Oxford. She summered and articled at Hunter Litigation Chambers before joining as an associate in 2019, and is fluent in English and French.
