About Steve
Chief executive officer of Gowling WLG (Canada) LLP and co-chair of the firm's international board, Steve McKersie has spent his entire career at the firm with more than 20 years of experience. Before becoming CEO, he managed a robust corporate, commercial and securities law practice, working with domestic and international clients on mergers and acquisitions, restructurings, debt and equity financing and commercial contract negotiations. He continues to serve as the primary relationship partner for several of the firm's major corporate clients across manufacturing, technology, beverages and alcohol, payments, gaming, telecommunications, pharmaceuticals, automotive, insurance and advertising sectors.
