Stephen Schwartz chairs Chaitons LLP's Litigation Group and sits on the firm's Executive Committee. His litigation practice ranges from shareholder and partnership disputes to construction and real property cases. He also regularly handles condominium disagreements, employment litigation, professional negligence claims, and franchise-related disputes. Stephen regularly appears before all levels of the Ontario courts and before administrative tribunals. He has significant experience in complex, multi-party mediations and arbitrations, and often works alongside the firm's Corporate and Real Estate Groups when their clients need litigation advice. Stephen earned his B.A. from York University in 1980 and his LL.B. from Osgoode Hall Law School in 1984, and he was called to the Ontario Bar in 1986.
