About Nikolas
Nikolas Sopow is a partner whose practice covers corporate and commercial law, privacy and data protection, and franchising. He joined the firm as an associate in 2022 and was called to the Ontario Bar in 2017. As a Certified Information Privacy Professional, he helps companies around the world navigate Canadian privacy and data protection requirements, and he advises both new and established franchise systems on growing and protecting their businesses. Nikolas holds an LLM from the University of Western Ontario, a JD from Queen's University, and a BA from the University of Victoria. He sits on the executive of the Ontario Bar Association's franchise law section and is active with the International Association of Privacy Professionals.
