About Stephen
Stephen Fitterman's practice encompasses all manner of contract disputes, securities litigation, commercial real estate disputes, environmental law litigation, and employment and entertainment law disputes. He joined the firm's predecessor, Shapray Cramer, in 1999 after a decade at Toronto firms and has extensive appellate and trial experience across multiple Canadian courts. He holds a J.D. from the University of Toronto Law School (1987) and attended Reed College in Portland, Oregon (Dean's List) and the Universite de Strasbourg in France, and completed the Harvard Law School Negotiation Institute's Mediating Disputes Workshop in June 2013. He was called to the bar in Ontario in 1989 and British Columbia in 1994, and is a Senior Fellow of the Litigation Counsel of America, recognized by Benchmark Canada as a 'Litigation Star', Best Lawyers Canada, and Chambers & Partners for Corporate and Commercial Litigation.
