About Brendan
Brendan Dawes is a construction lawyer representing clients in all aspects of construction disputes, including delay and disruption, defects and deficiencies, warranty coverage, negligent design, builders liens, and changes and extras. He acts for owners, developers, general contractors, trades, and suppliers in complex, multi-party litigation, and has an arbitration practice representing parties in matters administered by the International Chamber of Commerce and the Vancouver International Arbitration Centre. Brendan also has an administrative law practice acting as prosecutor for Engineers and Geoscientists BC in professional discipline matters, and advises on contract drafting and project delivery for residential developments. Before joining Jenkins Marzban Logan LLP, he articled and practised at a national law firm in commercial litigation, insurance defence, employment law, and construction law.
