About Caitlin

Caitlin Heit practises in all areas of family law, assisting clients with divorce and common-law separation, property division, parenting, guardianship, child and spousal support, agreements, and protection orders. She generally aims to resolve disputes outside of court but is a strong advocate for her clients before the Provincial Court, Supreme Court of British Columbia, and Court of Appeal. Caitlin volunteers as a family lawyer with the Virtual Legal Clinic program at Rise Women's Legal Centre and is a contributing author to the Continuing Legal Education Society's Annotated Family Practice. Before law school, she completed an Honours Bachelor of Science in Oenology and Viticulture followed by a Master of Science in Biotechnology at Brock University, researching Icewine fermentation.
