A partner in the firm's Ottawa office with over 25 years of intellectual property law experience, Stéphane Caron provides strategic advice on contentious and non-contentious matters concerning copyright, technology, media and trademarks, and regularly advises on software, database and artificial intelligence issues. His clients include entertainment companies, creators and publishers, software developers, businesses in manufacturing, services and energy, and public sector and not-for-profit organizations. A member of the firm's Intellectual Property Litigation Group, he has represented clients before the Federal Court of Canada, the Federal Court of Appeal, the Ontario Superior Court of Justice and the Trademark Opposition Board, and has appeared before the Supreme Court of Canada.
