About Stefan

Stefan W. Drew's practice centers on secured lending transactions, including real estate financing such as refinancing, acquisition, and construction lending, CMHC-insured deals, and multi-jurisdictional and syndicated financings. He also assists lenders in developing standard loan and security documentation and advises on commercial and multi-family residential real estate acquisitions and dispositions. Drew earned his J.D. from Robson Hall Faculty of Law at the University of Manitoba in 2015 and a B.Sc. (Honours) from the John F. Welch College of Business at Sacred Heart University in 2009. He was called to the Manitoba bar in 2016, the Saskatchewan bar in 2022, the Alberta bar in 2023, and the British Columbia bar in 2026, and routinely acts on lending transactions across Canada. His services are provided through Stefan W. Drew Law Corporation, and he has served as a director and honorary solicitor for Family Dynamics.
