About Staci

Staci Tannahill-Smith is an Associate at Embury & West LLP practising employment and litigation law. Staci earned a J.D. from the University of Calgary in 2016 and a B.Ed. with Distinction from Simon Fraser University in 2013, and was called to the Alberta Bar in 2017. Before joining the firm in 2025, Staci spent nearly a decade in family and estates law in Calgary and Cochrane, and holds certifications in mediation and counselling/family therapy, informing a people-first approach to resolving legal issues. Staci has presented for LESA and the Canadian Bar Association and co-owns a floral design business.
