Rachel S. West

About Rachel

Rachel S. West co-founded Embury & West LLP with Ellen Embury in 2023, having partnered with Ellen since 2016. Rachel began practising at a major Calgary corporate firm, spending 11 years balancing employment and labour law work for both employers and employees, and has appeared at all Alberta court levels and before the Alberta Human Rights Tribunal. Rachel teaches employment law at the University of Calgary, volunteers with the Law Society of Alberta's Assist Program, and draws on a background in psychology, with an additional focus on reproductive technology and fertility law.
