About Gregory

Gregory J. Leia practices securities law, corporate and commercial transactions, tax, commercial litigation and oil and gas law. Admitted to the Law Society of Alberta in 1983, Leia has practiced with Wolff Leia since 1989, after six years at Duncan & Craig LLP in Edmonton. Leia's experience includes complex securities transactions for TSXV issuers, tax planning and corporate reorganizations for technology companies relocating to US markets, and commercial litigation matters including receiverships, CCAA reorganizations and BIA proposals. Leia has also owned and operated several junior oil and gas exploration companies since 2007 and has appeared before the Alberta Securities Commission and the Alberta Court of Appeal on securities matters. Leia holds a Bachelor of Commerce and an LL.B. from the University of Saskatchewan.
