About Simon

Simon Gray-Schleihauf's practice covers debt recovery and civil litigation, including commercial, construction, estate and trust, insurance, shareholder, contract, and property disputes, as well as appeals and judicial reviews, workplace investigations, foreclosures, and tax disputes. He trained at Rogers Partners LLP in Toronto from 2010 to 2016, where he served as lead defence counsel at trial, and also worked in-house on secondment for a major international retailer. He joined the Victoria firm Shields Harney in June 2016 and has since handled tribunal, application, trial, and appellate work along with numerous out-of-court settlements. He holds a B.A. (Hons.) from the University of Victoria, earned in 2006, and a J.D. from Queen's University, earned in 2010. Born and raised in London, Ontario, he relocated to Victoria with his family in 2016.
