About Shervin

Shervin Sabet is a criminal defence lawyer with Strategic Criminal Defence, practicing out of Calgary. He earned his law degree from the University of Calgary, where he volunteered extensively with Student Legal Assistance, a pro bono clinic serving low-income residents, and was later appointed its Early Case Resolution Coordinator for criminal matters. After law school he articled and then worked with a senior criminal defence lawyer, later appointed to the Court of King's Bench, gaining experience on serious files including murder and sexual assault while also carrying his own caseload of less complex matters. He went on to work in the Legal Aid Alberta Bail Hearing Office, where he helped secure release for more than 1,000 clients within 24 hours of arrest. Shervin now works collaboratively with the Strategic Criminal Defence team, offering flexible payment arrangements to clients facing criminal charges.
