About Shelley

Shelley Bentley practises as a sole proprietor in the offices of Logica Law, restricting her practice to wills, estates, trust law, and elder law since being called to the British Columbia Bar in 1984. She obtained her BA and LLB at Queen's University in Kingston, Ontario, and has practised at the former firms of Melville and Company, Landmark Law Group, and as a sole proprietor at Kerr Redekop Leinburd Boswell in Vancouver. Shelley has also been in-house counsel at CIBC Trust and the trust department of the Loewen Group, and spent a year as the Mental Patient's Advocate at Riverview Hospital for the Vancouver Community Legal Assistance Society. She is a former chair of the Wills and Trusts Subsection (Vancouver) of the BC Branch of the Canadian Bar Association and a prolific contributor to the Continuing Legal Education Society of British Columbia, including as an instructor and author of chapters on wills, estates, trusts, and adult guardianship law.
