About Jasroop

Jasroop Grewal is a co-founder and the managing partner of Apna Law LLP. Born and raised in Vancouver, he earned a BA in Psychology from the University of British Columbia before completing his LLB at the University of Saskatchewan. He then practiced civil litigation in the Okanagan with a focus on personal injury, family, and insurance litigation, before joining an insurance defence firm in 2012 and co-founding Apna Law LLP with James Gill in 2018. He has appeared at all levels of court in British Columbia and previously served as the Young Lawyers Representative on the Canadian Bar Association BC Branch's Executive Committee and as a CBABC Provincial Council member. He is a past president of the South Asian Family Association and completed a Master of Liberal Arts in Sports Psychology at Harvard University, where he was awarded a place on the Dean's List.
