About Shauna

Shauna R. Gersbach is a civil litigator whose practice covers insurance, employment, human rights, health, municipal, regulatory, and administrative law, regularly advising schools, municipalities, health authorities, and religious institutions. Her practice also includes medical and dental malpractice defence and assisting health professionals in regulatory matters. She has appeared at all levels of court in British Columbia and before tribunals including the Employment Standards Branch, the BC Human Rights Tribunal, the Office of the Information and Privacy Commissioner, the Health Professions Review Board, and the Workers' Compensation Board. Gersbach completed her law degree at the University of Victoria, clerked for six BC Supreme Court judges, was called to the British Columbia bar in 2012, and has also been licensed in the Yukon since 2015. Since 2020 she has been recognized annually by Benchmark Litigation for her work.
