About Shaun
Shaun Williamson articled with Platform Litigation and was called to the bar in 2023. He has assisted clients in trial, bail, and sentencing matters and has appeared in both BC's Provincial and Supreme courts. Williamson graduated from the University of Calgary's Faculty of Law, where he volunteered for Student Legal Assistance and took part in the university's Public Interest Law Clinic, working on a dispute over Alberta's coal policy and a fairer transit-fare approach for low-income riders. His interest in criminal law developed during a Master's degree in History and Cultural, Social and Political Thought at the University of Victoria, where his thesis examined liberal economic theory and mass incarceration in the United States. Williamson holds a B.A. (Hons.) in History from Mount Royal University.
