About Shannon

Shannon Beebe was raised in the Fraser Valley, earned a bachelor's degree at UBC, and graduated cum laude from Chicago-Kent College of Law in 2011, completing a certificate in Environmental Law and supporting access-to-justice initiatives during school. After graduating, Beebe provided pro bono legal support to survivors of domestic violence and supported women lawyers' mentorship through chair positions with the D.C. Women's Bar Association. Beebe practised general civil litigation and employment law after being called to the bars of Illinois, Washington D.C., Virginia, and British Columbia, and since 2021 has practised family law exclusively, regularly appearing before the BC Supreme Court and using a collaborative litigation approach that off-ramps into mediation or arbitration when appropriate.
