About Rebecca
Rebecca Garner is an associate in Osler's Emerging and High Growth Companies Group and Venture Fund Group, based in the Vancouver office. Her practice focuses on advising venture capital fund managers on formation and structuring, from drafting limited partnership agreements and negotiating side letters to handling investor relations, governance, and regulatory compliance. Garner also represents venture capital funds in their investments in early-stage and growth companies, working on deal structuring and negotiating transaction documents. She earned her law degree from the University of Ottawa with magna cum laude honours, and spent more than seven years in the start-up world as both a founder and a service provider before joining Osler.
