About Shane

Shane Greaves is a partner at Beard Winter whose litigation practice centers on employment and real estate disputes. He represents both employers and employees and advises employers on avoiding disputes before they arise. On the real estate side, his work has included mortgage enforcement, misrepresentation and trust claims, and fraudulent conveyance disputes, alongside broader commercial and civil litigation for corporate and individual clients. Shane has appeared before every level of court in Ontario, including the Court of Appeal, and has also handled matters before the Tax Court of Canada, the Federal Court of Appeal, the Human Rights Tribunal of Ontario, and the Ontario Labour Relations Board. He earned his law degree and undergraduate degree at Queen's University and was called to the Ontario bar in 2016.
