About Shane
Shane Brown is a partner at Thorsteinssons LLP practicing out of the firm's Vancouver office. His work centers on domestic and international tax planning for individuals, trusts, corporations and charities, covering estate planning, corporate reorganizations, business structuring and cross-border tax matters. He also advises non-residents planning to immigrate to Canada and represents clients in disputes with the Canada Revenue Agency. Shane lectures and writes on taxation topics and has presented at the Canadian Tax Foundation's National Tax Conference. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Microbiology and Zoology from the University of Manitoba and a Bachelor of Laws from the University of British Columbia, and was called to the British Columbia bar in 2005. He is a full member of the Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners.
