About Sean
Sean Jeffers focuses on both plaintiff and defence work in catastrophic personal injury and fatality litigation arising from industrial accidents, motor vehicle accidents and occupiers' liability incidents. He frequently handles first-party claims, complex coverage disputes, life and disability insurance claims, large loss subrogation matters and SEF 44 policy litigation, and also acts in construction litigation for developers, design professionals, contractors and project managers. He is a formally trained mediator and has represented clients before all levels of court in Alberta and other western provinces, including complex multi-party dispute resolution. Sean volunteers with the Law Society of Alberta as a CPLED evaluator and educator and regularly presents seminars on insurance defence developments. He was designated King's Counsel in 2024.
