Hermanie Chiong joined KazLaw in 2019 after graduating from the University of Oxford, where she earned a law degree with honours and a Master's degree and received the Boulter Prize. Having grown up in Metro Vancouver, she returned after graduation to practise in her hometown and was called to the bar in 2020, becoming one of the youngest lawyers in the province. Her UK experience included a court pupillage at a Crown Court in London and specialized study in complex causation and negligence. She is fluent in Cantonese and Mandarin, with limited working proficiency in French, and outside law pursues painting, clay sculpture, and travel.
