About Sean

Sean Holler is Of Counsel at Caravel Law, serving software, healthcare, pharmaceutical and biotech, and health-tech clients at the intersection of those industries. His in-house background includes work as Commercial Counsel for one of Canada's largest publicly listed biotechnology companies, where he coordinated cross-border manufacturing partnerships, technology licensing deals, and asset purchase transactions, and he has also advised major Canadian pharmaceutical and med-tech companies. Sean has supported financing rounds totaling more than US$1 billion, served as legal lead on late-stage clinical trials and manufacturing agreements, and worked on mergers and acquisitions such as the US$50 million sale of a green-energy company based in Alberta. Beyond his practice, he advises SPARK Alberta's digital health innovation program, sits on the board of the Marda Loop Communities Association in Calgary, and serves in the Canadian Armed Forces as an officer.
