About Scott
Scott Reeves focuses on securities, corporate finance, and commercial transactions for emerging and growth companies, joint ventures, and partnerships, advising numerous TSX and TSX Venture Exchange-listed companies in industries including oil and gas, mining, and technology. He has extensive experience in financing options, private and public offerings, corporate acquisitions, and securities regulatory requirements, and also acts as director or corporate secretary for several public and private companies. Reeves obtained his law degree (LL.B., Honours, 1995) and commerce degree (B.Comm., Honours, 1991), both from the University of Alberta, where he was editor-in-chief of the Alberta Law Review, and has taught advanced corporate finance and corporations law there and at Osgoode Hall Law School. He is a past chairman of the Canadian Bar Association (Alberta) Business Law subsection and sits on the Alberta Advisory Board for the TSX Venture Exchange.
