About Scott

Scott is an employment lawyer with more than 17 years of experience helping employees enforce their rights on termination, including wrongful and constructive dismissal claims and severance pay disputes. Before relocating to the BC Interior in 2017, he practised employment law on Bay Street in Toronto, representing large companies and charities. He earned a Bachelor of Arts in History from the University of Calgary in 2001 and a Juris Doctor from the University of Western Ontario in 2004, and was called to the Ontario Bar in 2005 and the British Columbia Bar in 2017. He also holds a Chartered Professional in Human Resources designation, obtained in 2019. He is active with MADD Canada's Central Okanagan Chapter as treasurer and board member, and previously served as president of the Society of St. Vincent de Paul's Ozanam House board.
