About Scott

Scott Booth has focused his practice exclusively on family law since 2006, including litigation, mediation, and arbitration, both as counsel and as mediator/arbitrator. His strength is problem solving for clients in high income and high net worth families, generational wealth planning, and complex business assets. Scott has been recognized as a leading family lawyer in BC through Lexpert, Doyles Guide, and Best Lawyers, and is a fellow of the International Academy of Family Lawyers. He taught family law as an adjunct professor at UBC's Allard School of Law in 2020, contributed to the property division section of the BC Ministry of the Attorney General's transition guide for the Family Law Act, and serves on the editorial board for the Family Law Sourcebook for British Columbia. He is a past chair of the Canadian Bar Association's Vancouver Family Law Section and has long been involved in pro bono legal work.
