About Samuel

Samuel R. Lamey graduated from Dalhousie Law School in 1976 and joined Chester Law the following year as an associate, becoming a partner in 1979. He was designated King's Counsel in 2002 and has served as solicitor for the Municipality of Chester since 1993. His practice focuses on real estate and municipal law. Samuel R. Lamey was born and raised in Cape Breton and has made Chester his home for over 45 years. Outside the office, he enjoys music, politics, history, and current affairs, and is an avid sailor who owns a C&C 30.
