About Samah
Samah Rahman practices family law and holds an Honours Bachelor of Arts from the University of Toronto, a Master's degree from the University of Waterloo, and a Juris Doctor from the University of Ottawa. She is a member of the Canadian Muslim Lawyers Association. Samah has successfully argued motions, negotiated favourable settlements, and secured cost awards in matters involving parenting and property division, and she has also worked on cases involving religious barriers to separation, such as Islamic marriage contracts. Her advocacy was recognized when she won the BLG Family Law Negotiation competition and placed second as Top Negotiator at the National Walsh Family Law Negotiation Competition. Samah offers legal services in English, Bengali, Urdu and Hindi.
