About Samaa
Samaa Kabbar practises exclusively in family law at SV Law's Guelph office, guiding clients through separation, divorce, and related disputes with an approach she describes as compassionate and culturally sensitive. She favours collaborative solutions where possible but is prepared to advocate in court when litigation becomes necessary. Samaa earned her J.D. from Western Law in 2024, where she served as president of the Middle Eastern Law Students' Association and advised the Law Society of Ontario's Equity Advisory Group; she also worked as a caseworker at Community Legal Services and argued an urgent motion before the Superior Court of Justice. Before law school, she completed a Master of Arts in Applied Politics and an Honours B.A. in Political Science and Philosophy at Wilfrid Laurier University. She joined SV Law as a summer student in 2023, articled with the firm, and was called to the Ontario bar in 2025.
