About Sam
Sam Rollans aims to give clients an honest assessment of their chances of success while reducing the stress of navigating the legal system, generally seeking negotiation and settlement but litigating when needed. He has appeared before all levels of court in Alberta on divorce, parenting, custody, guardianship, access, support, property division, and adoption matters, and has particular experience in less-common areas such as annulments, grandparents' contact orders, and interjurisdictional support. Rollans graduated with distinction in English and Philosophy from the University of Alberta in 2010 and received his Juris Doctor, with distinction, from the University of Alberta in 2015, volunteering for three years with Student Legal Services and a year with Pro Bono Students Canada during law school. He joined Bruyer & Mackay LLP in 2014 as a summer student, continued as an articling student, and was called to the Alberta bar in 2016.
