About Joshua
Joshua Lovsund provides empathetic, non-judgmental representation in family law disputes, prioritizing clear and timely communication with clients. He has experience across divorce, parenting, child and spousal support, property division, and protection orders, and has appeared in all three levels of court in Alberta when litigation is required. Lovsund earned his Juris Doctor from the University of Alberta in 2025, winning the 2024 Morrison Family Law Moot and Best Oral Advocate honours, clerked with family law judges at the Alberta Court of Justice, and was called to the Alberta bar in 2026 before joining Bruyer & Mackay LLP as an associate. He serves on the Board of Directors of the Today Family Violence Prevention Centre and volunteers extensively with the Edmonton Community Legal Centre.
