About Sam
Sam Lewis is an associate practicing out of the firm's Toronto office, where his work centres on tax litigation and dispute resolution. He graduated from the University of Windsor's Faculty of Law in 2023 and holds a B.A. (Hons.) from the University of Guelph, where he played football for the Gryphons. During law school he served as a teaching assistant for contract and tax law courses and competed in the Donald Bowman National Tax Moot, later coaching Windsor's moot team. Before joining Thorsteinssons, Sam clerked at the Tax Court of Canada, gaining firsthand experience with the dispute resolution process for tax controversies.
