About Ronald

Ronald (Ron) Coke has practiced across a wide range of commercial law areas over his career, including mining and securities law, real estate syndications, corporate acquisitions, broadcasting and telecom law, and aviation. He was called to the Manitoba Bar in 1975, the Alberta Bar in 1979 and the British Columbia Bar in 1980, after earning his B.A. (Hons), M.A. and LL.B. from the University of Manitoba, and holds honorary CMA and CPA designations. Ron helped develop early online access systems to Manitoba's Land Titles Office, Companies Branch and Court records through Legal Data Resources (Manitoba) Corporation, which he has chaired since it began operating, and later assisted with computerizing the Winnipeg Stock Exchange. He has been selected for The Best Lawyers™ in Canada in Technology Law since 2015.
