About Alain

Alain (Al) Laurencelle is a senior partner experienced in real estate and commercial law, with a particular interest in life leases, condominiums and land development. He was called to the Manitoba Bar in 1991 after earning his LL.B. (Gold Medal) from Université de Moncton and his B.A. from the University of Manitoba. Fluent in French and English, he established and manages three of the firm's satellite rural offices and has presented on real estate and language rights topics at several institutions, including l'Université de Saint-Boniface. Alain has long been involved with St. John Ambulance, serving as Chancellor of the Priory of Canada, and is an Honorary Colonel with the Canadian Armed Forces' Field Ambulance reserves. He received the Manitoba Bar Association's Pro Bono Legal Award of the Year in 2014 and the Lieutenant-Governor of Manitoba's Vice-Prior Award for Community Services in 2018.
